I have been reminded that I need to post here! LOL! Lots has been going on.
Saturday April 21st was my April Showers Spring Crop. It was held at The Real Canadian Superstore. There were 18 ladies in attendance, not including me. A great time was had by all! Lots of scrapping, a fun make 'n take, good eating, and lots of socializing! I met a lot of new and wonderful ladies that day too! Mahlah was the grand prize winner for the day! Everyone went home with a door prize and a goodie bag :) Good times!!
Easter was fantastic. Low key, just the way I like things to be most times. The kids all got umbrella's in their Easter baskets, and now 'Phia cannot leave the house without her pink "brulla, Mommy, BRULLA!" Too funny. I need to get some photos of this, before it becomes a thing of the past.
I'm hosting my semi-anual SCRAPBOOK YARDSALE this weekend! I'm stoked. Turn your old into new! :D
**FRIDAY, MAY 4 and SATURDAY MAY 5 SCRAPBOOK YARDSALE!**
Friday 1pm-7pm, Saturday 8:30-noon.
We all have stashes of unwanted papers, unused embellishments, tools collecting dust etc etc, so I'm having a Scrapbook Yard Sale to help you turn your old supplies into new ones!!
Here is how it works:
Gather up your things, email me for the form and bring it all in between now and May 3rd. (ITEMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED ONCE THE SALE STARTS). Print as many forms as you require!
You set your own price and I will sell for you. Each item must come in with a price tag attached and on that price tag the proper code. Please use the following as an example for labeling and pricing your items:
Name: Kristi-Anna Beaudry
Code: KAB 01 (02, 03, ... 99, 100)
Price: KAB 01 $1.00
The form is for you to fill out. Please make a photocopy of it for yourself. I will use the master list to check off all of your items that are sold, and use it to tally up your total for your Stampin' Up! gift certificate.
All items will be displayed for sale in my home Friday May 4th and Saturday May 5th.
Your gift certificate can be spent on any current catalogue items but is not redeemable on crops, clubs or classes. Gift certificates must be redeemed by July 31st, no exceptions. This will give you some money to spend in the current Idea Book and Catalogue, and/or the 2007-2008 Idea Book and Catalogue!! By then you will have the retirement list in hand as well!
CASH & CHEQUE only for payment of yard sale items so if you are shopping be prepared.
So I hope to see a lot of you there, shopping or bringing anything in to sell!!

I've been tagged!
My friend Lori has tagged me - its my first tag so this is quite fun. A big thanks for the tag because it has been a while since this has been updated and I needed to get a move on. so here are the deets...
Each player starts with 7 random facts/habits about themselves. People who are tagged need to write their own blog about their seven things, as well as these rules. At the end of your blog, you need to choose 7 people to get tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave them a comment telling them that they have been tagged and to read your blog! OK, here goes:
1. I travelled quite a bit before Mike and I got married. I had counted 7 countries, 3 continents in 2 years - all over the USA, all over Canada, Mexico, Colombia South America, Germany, The Netherlands, and Belgium.
2. Mike and I only went on one 'official' date before we got engaged. We went to La Fontana's (a now closed Italian Eatery) and to see "The Devil's Own" with Brad Pitt and Harrison Ford!
3. I ate chipmunk meat once. Only once. I was tricked!! Tastes like chicken. Probably won't eat it again tho! LOL
4. I have driven from coast to coast in Canada at least twice, but not all in one go! (from Ontario to PEI, and from Ontario to BC and back).
5. Mike and I honeymooned at the Happiest Place on Earth - Disney World, and so to celebrate our 10th anniversary next year, we're going back - but taking the cruise too.
6. I am named after my Great Grandmother on my maternal Gram's side. She didnt' know her name was Chritianna until she was in her 50's at least, always thought her name was Annie!
7. I really need to clean up my scrapbooking S.P.A.C.E. - sort, purge, assign a home, containerize, equalize (eliminate clutter!)
Ok, now who to tag...
Anna M, Heather V, Nancy T, Angela, Margo S, Katrina J, and Theresa.

Happy Anniversary!
Today is our 9th wedding anniversary. I looked at some daffodils poking out in my garden today, and was reminded of our wedding day, and how at our photo shoot a few dafs were peeking out then too! That was such a nice little blessing from God that day (it had snowed a LOT two weeks previous to our wedding, I was a wreck thinking our day would be soooo cold and snowy! lol!!)
I'm a little sad tho... nobody remembered. Ok, Mike did, and I guess that is what is important, right? :D It's just been a rough week... but the EASTER WEEKEND is coming!! Spending time at church, with family, and remembering the huge sacrifice that Jesus made for us so long ago... Tonite at Sparks (www.awana.org) we made resurrection cookies. The kids first smashed and bashed some pecans to sybolize the beating that Christ took. Next the kids got to sniff some vinegar to see if they would like to drink it, as Christ was offered vinegar to drink while suffering on the cross. Next they saw some egg whites, symbolic of the life Christ gave for us. Next they tasted some salt... oh the reactions!! The salt symbolized the tears that Jesus shed for us while he was on the cross. Next they tasted sugar... how sweet the reward for those who accept Christ and what he did for us! We put it all in a mixer, and made merangues. While we played games and said our verses, the merangues puffed up, and VOILA... empty tombs for snack!!! The kids LOVED the activity! Altho they didn't all love the cookies. LOL
So back to our wedding anniversary... we may head out for supper on Saturday, but that would require a sitter, so we'll have to rethink that one. LOL
Here are a couple pages from my wedding scrapbook (a work in progress still) to commemorate the day :)
